Seniors and their parents are invited to decorate their vehicles in the college colors that they will be attending. They will remain in their vehicles and park in the outfield at CHS Wildcat Yard (baseball field) beginning at 1 p.m. The traditional send-off ceremony will be celebrated drive-in movie style and will recognize the “next step” in seniors’ journeys. Military and college reps have been invited to speak from the baseball press box. Students will honk their horns as organizers ask for those who have committed to colleges, tech programs, military, etc. After the ceremony, there will be a Red Carpet type parade in which the students will leave the field in their vehicles and pass their teachers, who will line the parking lot near the exit.
