The Columbia High School Choir Program is committed to providing the highest standard of music education for over 20 years. Our program is rich with tradition, excellence, and invlovement in our community. We celebrate every student’s personal and musical journey. We look forward to working with students from all walks of life. Our goal is to not only guide the next generation of choral musicians but also help develop leaders for our community, state, and beyond. Let’s create music together!
We offer three ensembles at Columbia High School:
Con Brio (Select Treble Choir)
Con Brio is our premiere treble vocal ensemble in the CHS Choir Program. Students placed in this choir show an advanced level of vocal and technical ability alongside a proven work ethic and responsibility. Students must have a strong musicianship, remain academically eligible, and be of the highest character. Placement in this choir is by audition only. Grades 10-12.
Concord (Bass Concert Choir)
Concord (Bass Concert Choir) is open to all tenor and bass voices in grades 9–12. Students develop fundamental vocal technique, improve sight-reading skills, and build musicianship through the study and performance of a variety of choral literature. This ensemble provides an opportunity for singers of all experience levels to strengthen their musical abilities in a collaborative rehearsal setting.
Treble Concert Choir
Treble Concert Choir welcomes all treble-voiced students in grades 9–12 who are eager to grow as singers and musicians. Through dynamic rehearsals and inspiring performances, students develop healthy vocal technique, strengthen sight-reading abilities, and build confidence as part of a collaborative ensemble. Whether you're an experienced vocalist or new to choir, Concert Treble Choir offers a supportive environment to develop your skills and share the joy of music.
