TEAM SPORTS

 
Classroom Structure:
 
Because we will be unable to participate in group team sport activities, we are shifting to a fitness oriented approach to "distance learning" Team Sports. Each week that we are operating as distance learners, I will be posting your workouts for you to complete. In addition to completing your workouts, you will be asked to fill out a fitness log describing your exercise experience. YOUR FITNESS LOGS WILL BE DUE EVERYDAY. Find the link to your log below.
 
I will using your fitness logs to take attendance. Complete your workout, fill out your log and submit it via Remind. Once I've received your log, i'll will use that as evidence that you attendance class. If i do not receive you log, you will be marked as absent for the day.
TUESDAY (3/31) & WEDNESDAY (4/1)
 
Workout #1

Warm up-

Walk around your house or outside for 10  minutes.

Please complete the following stretches:

  • Seated single leg toe touch (sit down on bottom, one leg bent in, the other leg straight and reach for your toes) each leg.
  • Both legs straight out
  • Butterfly
  • Hug your knee/twist/straight leg straight up
  • Quads
  • Calves

 

Workout-

Please complete 3 rounds of the following:

  • 10 air squats
  • 10 push ups/knee push ups
  • 20 lunges
  • 20 sit ups

 

THURSDAY (4/2) & FRIDAY (4/3)
 
Workout #2

Warm up- Please complete one of the following activities for at least 10 minutes:

  • Jump rope/if you don’t have one, pretend and use your arms like you would with a jump rope
  • Walk around inside/outside
  • Ride your bike/rollerblade/skateboard/just dance on console

Please complete the following stretches:

  • Seated single leg toe touch (sit down on bottom, one leg bent in, the other leg straight and reach for your toes) each leg.

  • Butterfly
  • Hug your knee/twist/straight leg straight up
  • Quads
  • Calves

Workout:

Please complete 3 rounds of:
