While in-person school is closed due to coronavirus, all courses will be in session at normally scheduled A/B day times. Please log onto Summit and look at today's checkpoint. This is under our current math unit (Math 1 = Systems of Equations & Inequalities, Math 2 = Similarity) by date.
Please sign up for Remind to receive notifications for our course. You can text the number 81010 the text "@math1sen", or go to remind.com to join, and use the course code math1sen (Math 2 folks: our code is math2sen). Primary communications will happen through Remind.
Make sure that you are ready to join remotely by making sure you have access to your device, charger, Wi-Fi or a hotspot, notebook, writing device, headphones if needed, and calculator. If access to any of these resources is a challenge for you or your family, please contact the school and we will do our best to provide assistance.
Power and Additional Focus Areas will be approved again starting on March 31. Directions will also follow at that time.
Student learning is important to me! I will be available to parents and students to answer questions 3pm to 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Feel free to send in questions or concerns at any time via email or Remind. If it is outside office hours, I will get back to you within 24 hours.
During Distance Learning, directions will be provided each class on how to take attendance. You must complete the attendance task before 3pm on the designated day of your class. (ex: on A days, students in my 1A class must take attendance by 3pm). Live help and feedback will be provided at designated class time and during office hours. All work and tasks provided under the Checkpoint for each day is expected to be complete by the next class period.
